A New National Monument

A New National Monument

People love to visit national monuments and parks. When a new one is established, many people want to go see it, only to find out there isn’t much information out there to plan a visit.

When Mojave Trails National Monument was established in 2016, most people didn’t know where its borders lie and even why the monument was created in the first place. San Bernardino County Tourism hired content-smith LLC to create an educational and informative video tour of all the places special about the new national monument.

A New National Monument

The result was a video that both the County and the BLM that manages the monument can point people to, so that they can watch and learn about the historic places it helps to preserve. It also explains how to visit various places of interest and shows what these places look like.

This content features:

    • Animates the existing map of the monument pointing out places
    • Aerial imagery from a drone
    • Explains the history involved with the monument
    • Google Earth animation showing the monument’s borders and where places are located
    • Quality pictures from places around the monument
