Marbles
This interesting pattern was created by what are called Moqui Marbles. These “marbles”, which are naturally-occurring iron concretions, have been eroded out of the sandstone. Once free, they roll like marbles into any low spot or crack and collect into all sorts of designs. In this particular Utah location, there were thousands of them.
