Echo Canyon Road Trip
Located near the Furnace Creek area, this short and fairly easy Road Trip will take you through a narrow "slot" canyon and on to a well-preserved mining camp. Echo Canyon is a beautiful canyon that has lots of interesting geology to look at, including the "Eye of the Needle". This "eye" is the largest of many holes that you'll find throughout the canyon and were formed by the eroding of the unique type of rock found here. There is something interesting to see around every corner of this narrow canyon. |
