Owl Hole Springs Road Trip

This road trip explores the "Bowling Alley" - an area at the southernmost edge of Death Valley.  The "Bowling Alley", as it is known by the B.L.M. [glossary], is a long, narrow strip of land that is sandwiched between the northern boundary of Fort Irwin and the southern boundary of Death Valley National Park.  At 35 miles long and only two miles wide, it's easy to see how the "Bowling Alley" got it's name.  This trail was also the old route used by the 20-mule team between the Amargosa Borax Works and Mojave.
