This page is not included in the sample version. Click here to see available pages. Located at the southern end of Racetrack Valley, the Lippencott Lead Mine still has some ruins worth exploring. Although lead was produced by many mines in Death Valley, it was often simply a by-product. The Lippencott Lead Mine produced lead as its main ore and was one of the most successful in the area. Today, there isn't much left of the mining camp (only a storage tank) and there was never a mill, but there are still some ore bins and other interesting mining things to see. |
