Another unique attraction in the Amargosa River Canyon is the slot canyon near the confluence of the Amargosa River and Willow Creek canyons. This is a typical slot canyon with it's narrow width (from 5 to10 feet) and high walls (over 100 feet high). You can walk back into it for a few hundred feet. This type of true slot canyon is common in Arizona and Utah but is relatively rare for California. |
