Virtual Video Tour

Each chapter includes a Virtual Video Tour.  This is located roughly halfway down the webpage and displayed in a video player.

Before clicking on the Play button, make sure that the sound on your computer is turned on and the volume is up.  There is a full-screen button available on the video player that, if you click it, the video will display on the screen full-size.

In some cases, a video quality option is available.  Depending on your internet connection speed, you will wish to select the highest resolution available to enhance your viewing pleasure.

The travel guide utilizes two different video players.  Some videos are stored and played back using the popular video service called YouTube™.  Most videos utilize a generic video player as the data is stored inside of our guide.

YouTube™

When the YouTube™ player is being used, below are some of the options available that you may wish to adjust to enhance your experience.  These instructions were created in 2017, so be aware that some of the options explained below may have changed.

  2. Quality: Single-click this option to choose the image quality.  Choose 720 or 1080 for the best quality.  In some cases, there may be a number higher than 1080 that offers better quality.  However, the higher the number, the more data is being sent to your device, which means that your monthly air time cost will be greater and, depending if you have a slow internet connection, could cause the video to perform slowly.
